Song: "In The Summertime"
Artist: Mungo Jerry.
Just thinking about this song gets the melody playing in my head. When I saw Wedding Crashers this was on the soundtrack and I fasely assumed it was by T. Rex. Imagine my surprise when I got home and looked for it on my copy of 20th Century Boy only to learn it was not by Marc Bolan. T. Rex had a lot more good songs than Mungo Jerry did though.
Song: "Ride A White Swan"
Artist: T. Rex
Like this one. Just seeing the title is enough to make me start humming to myself.
Song: "Mamma Mia"
Artist: ABBA
OK, literally 30 years ago I first owned an ABBA LP - the self titled one (whose big single was "Take A Chance On Me"). As an aside I just learned from Wikipedia that most of ABBA's videos were directed by Lasse Hallström.
I hope I have infected your brain with these songs now so that they can leave mine for a while.
