Ann and I got married today, under a tree on the shore of Lake Washington, with the help of two witnesses and a local judge. It was a sunny day and the bride wore white.
All of this came as a pleasant surprise for our family and friends. I have several years of catch-up work ahead of me if I'm going to be the Rennicks' favorite gender-neutral-child-in-law (I believe Toby has pole position but there is no discounting Lisa in this three horse race) and the bad news for a slacker like me is that "great accomplishments depend not so much on ingenuity as on hard work".
Now we are headed to Spain from May 15 - 29, with a rough itinerary of Madrid - Toledo - Sevilla - Ronda - Competa - Grenada - Barcelona. See you all in early June.
Love,
John and Ann
