Reading more about Turner Classic Movies and its tribute to Canada, earlier in the series they ran Kelly's Heroes. The article on the website goes on and on about non-Canadian star Clint Eastwood. What gives?
Let's play Name The Canadian! From the cast of Kelly's Heroes (sans Eastwood), pick out the Canuck. Is it:
A. Telly Savalas (MSgt. Big Joe)
B. Don Rickles (SSgt. Crapgame)
C. Carroll O'Connor (Maj. Gen. Colt)
D. Donald Sutherland (Sgt. Oddball)
E. Gavin MacLeod (Moriarty)
The correct answer is (D) Donald Sutherland, born in Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA!!
(Coincidentally, the other four are all from New York: Savalas - Long Island; Rickles - NYC; O'Connor - the Bronx; MacLeod - Mount Kisco)
